Who is responsible for your data?
The controller is Krisztián Rapcsány sole proprietor (registered address: 2194 Tura, Iskola utca 76., Hungary; tax number: 56848670-1-33; registration number: 55546162). For questions or requests write to [email protected].
What I process, and why
- Contact form: your name, email address, message and the optional details you fill in (topic, technology, timeline, project size). I use them only to answer you and to prepare a possible collaboration. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in replying (f).
- Direct email: if you write to the address yourself, I process the same data for the same purpose.
- Anonymous usage log: the site keeps its own cookie-free log of which page and which button was used, and in which language. It stores no IP address, browser identifier or anything that can be tied to a person, so it is not personal data.
- Abuse protection: when the form is submitted, I temporarily store the sender's IP address and a hash of the email address (not the address itself), for at most one hour, to stop mass submissions. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in protecting the site.
- Server logs: the hosting provider logs requests as usual for technical operation (IP address, time, requested page). I use these only for troubleshooting and protection.
How long I keep it
Messages are kept until the enquiry is closed, and for at most 2 years if no quote or collaboration follows, then deleted. If we work together, contract and invoicing data is kept for the period required by law. Protection data is kept for at most one hour, and server logs for a few weeks according to the host's settings.
Who gets it
I will not sell it or pass it on for advertising. The site runs on servers of DigitalOcean, LLC, Cloudflare, Inc. handles the domain and traffic (DNS, CDN, forwarding of mail sent to my addresses), and incoming mail is stored by Google (Gmail). They act as processors, and data may be transferred outside the EEA (for example to the United States) on the basis of the providers' terms and standard contractual clauses. If the invisible bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) is switched on, your browser also contacts Cloudflare for the check.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses no tracking or marketing cookies, so there is no cookie consent banner. Your browser's local storage only remembers the chosen appearance (light or dark theme) and never leaves your device. The form may use a session cookie to restore your input after a failed submission; it expires when the session ends.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for information about your data, correction, erasure or restriction, and you can object to its processing. Write to the address above and I will reply within a month. If you feel your rights were violated you can complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or go to court.
